What helps in a bug report

The app sends no crash reports, so we only learn about problems from you. Useful details: your Android version, device model, the app version (at the bottom of Settings), and a short description of what you did and what happened instead.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No. There is no sign-up, and the care features work fully offline. A connection is only used for the optional weather forecast.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your phone, in the app's private storage area. There is no server to upload it to. Details are in the privacy policy.

Do I have to share my location?

No. For the weather feature you can simply type a city or postcode instead of using GPS. Without either, the app still works — just without weather-dependent care hints.

How do I back up my data or move to a new phone?

Under Settings → Backup you create a ZIP file containing your database and photos, and save it wherever you like via the share sheet. On the new device, import that same file in the same place. As there is no cloud sync, this is the intended route.

I'm not getting reminders.

Check that the notification permission is granted (Android 13 and newer asks for it separately) and that battery optimisation is not restricting the app — some manufacturers suppress scheduled alarms quite aggressively. The reminder fires locally on the device, so there is no push service that could fail.

How do I delete everything?

Uninstall the app — Android removes the private app storage completely. Remember any backup files of your own, and any Google system backup.
